One of our volunteers at work asked me to make her little granddaughter a blanket.

Anna had seen the blanket I had made previously and decided she wanted one as well. She chose the colours and I made the Daisy flower blanket.

I create all the daisies first then add the colours using a basic block stitch

Row 1: into the chain space between each popcorn: 1sc 2ch, repeat to end and join.

Row 2: into 1st ch space of previous row  ch1 (counts as 1st sc) 2sc in next ch sp 3sc,
(cnr)1hdc 2 dc 2ch 2dc 1hdc , in next ch sp 3sc, in next ch sp 3sc. 4 times to create 4 sides. Join

Row 3: 1sc 2 ch between each set of 3  in previous round.  For the corners: 1sc 2ch 1sc.

Row 4: 3 dc into each ch sp from prev round,   For the corners: 3dc 1ch 3dc

Repeat rows 3 and 4 till you have the size you want.
